On my Yogacara Teacher Training graduation day, I was so excited to share my passion for movement with every body. I could see myself teaching fun, dynamic and challenging Vinyasa Flow classes. I was ready to share my passion for movement with the world.
How differently things panned out! During my second month teaching, a good friend approached me to ask if I could help her parents. Her mother had recently been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s Disease. I was overjoyed to be able to help and, today, our classes are just as wonderful as when we started. We practice a lot of Pranayama, Meditation and Partner Yoga with her husband. The classes are centred around human connection and above all, creating a positive outlook on life, despite what’s happened. I began to see how yoga really is for every body.
